The Winner of the 140th Round of Formula FX Wanted a 1,000% Profit, But Managed 5,325%!

Evgeny from Podolsk (nickname: PRAL) is the winner of the 140^th round of our Formula FX contest. He didn't only achieve an unbelievable 5,325% return and receive 20,000 RUR as a prize, but came first by beating his closest competitor by more than 5 times (2^nd place achieved 949%, which is impressive in itself)!

Evgeni agreed to answer a few of our questions:

Did you have any doubts when you opened your trading account? Especially since there are so many myths on the internet, and much more of them than facts, about the intricacies of forex…

When I opened a live trading account I didn’t have any doubts.

Tell us a little about your first experience with forex.

I just opened an account and started trading straight away.

Why did you decide to take part in the contest? What it that wasn’t enough about standard trading that pushed you towards the contest? After all, forex is a fast moving market.

Having looked at the contest ratings I saw that my returns are consistently higher than those of your winners. Since a little bit more money never hurts, I thought I’d take part.

Your return by the end of the contest was 5 times that of your closest competitor. How did you manage it?

I achieved it by chance. I wanted to achieve a 1,000% return but I just couldn’t stop. It was a one-way street for me that week.

If you had to say your favorite currency pair, what would it be?

Of course the EURUSD and AUDUSD.

Could you share some financial advice that you’ve learnt throughout your life? How did you learn about it?

I’ve never received any financial advice.
