Pool hopping

Just as tourists can hop off a tour bus at any point on the route and get onto a new one, with the help of special software, miners can “jump” between pools and receive a larger reward for processing transaction records on a smaller block. This software is used by most miners as it’s difficult to keep track of several pools at once without it.
